One Girl's Journey to Saturday Night Live

My name is Lauren Bancroft and I'm from from Nashua, NH.

I started this Tumblr in December of 2010 to document my path to go from who and where I am now, to being a cast member of Saturday Night Live. I have a realistic plan with attainable goals that I work very hard at every week.

I do stand up. I study improv. I write sketches. I work hard.

Just another day.

I was booked back at the Beach House Grill show in Ogunquit, Maine. That will be next Friday night (9/21). And I’m hosting Headliners again the night after (9/22). That will be a good money making weekend since I’ll be at Texas Roadhouse too. Having three jobs is kind of cool sometimes.

Tonight is Laugh Free or Die at The Shaskeen per every Wednesday. I haven’t been in a few weeks. Free comedy at 9:30 PM. How ‘bout it!
