I wasn’t on and didn’t plan on getting time or anything. I just went. I knew three of the four comics and one is a young lady from Vermont who is incredibly funny. Previously I had only seen her once at The Shaskeen so I’m glad I got to see her do more time tonight. She is something special.
Within ten minutes of walking in the door Rob Steen (booker) said, “Oh Lauren, I have some more Friday dates for you for November and December.” So, that’s freaking awesome. I’ll email him tomorrow to firm up said additional dates. He was so nice to say he’d have given me time tonight if there weren’t already four comics. Three is the norm so they were already over. But it’s nice to know if I wanted time there just showing up wouldn’t be too crazy.
The next week or so is shaping up to be a bit busy. I have shows Thursday (Nashua, NH), Friday (Ogunquit, ME), Saturday (Marlborough, MA), Monday (Worcester, MA) and then the following Wednesday is my first Comedy Studio date (Cambridge, MA).
All good things people. All good positive comedic things.
