Yeesh. I hurt. Seventy hour work weeks will do that to you I guess. I have today off though.
I went to the Nathan Burke Show at Penuches on Thursday and had a good night. He booked a lot of great guys who frequent The Grog in Newburyport but I think the audience was weird. I feel like nobody was getting the laughs they should have been getting. Nathan did very well indeed.
One of my Shaskeen guys also one of my biggest supporters in comedy, Chris Jackson is moving to Texas Tuesday so I’ll be making an appearance at his farewell party tonight.
But not until after I stop by Headliners in Manchester to watch some comedy for free. The headliner is Mike Donovan, a respected Boston comic who had only nice things to say about me when I met him at The Winners Circle this past February. I doubt he’ll remember me but who cares? Another first impression coming right up.
The plan is to get in front of the booker Rob Steen. I would love some dates from him so let’s make it happen!
