Shaskeen In Review
I wasn’t as confident with my new stuff as I should have been last night. The audience could tell I wasn’t committed. But I like what I have and I’m excited to try them again tonight at Fody’s and then at show two at Penuches.
Nick David wasn’t the host like normal, another comic stepped in for the evening. He didn’t see to be paying much attention to the comics but he should have been since he gives out the $50 at the end of the night. After the last comic, he announced that the winner was a nice kid who was trying stand up for the first time ever last night. He did alright but Matt Barry and Ryan Bourassa killed it. I see why the host did that but there have been a lot of first time comics at The Shaskeen who didn’t win for their inexperience.
I wasn’t a contender at all but it should have been Matt or Ryan.
