My voice has been strained the past few weeks. When I over use it or try to talk too loud it’s been breaking and raspy. My mom sings and is concerned that I’m damaging it.
She gave me some exercises to try. I really hope they work. Doing stand up is impossible without a voice.

BIG NEWS GUYS
Every year, the Nashua Rotary Club hosts a three day music, food and entertainment festival called Ribfest. Over the three days it brings in 25,000-30,000 people. This year they have decided to put on a comedy show the Saturday night of the Friday-Sunday fiesta. They have never tried comedy before, so this is new new new.
AND GUESS WHO GET’S TO HOST IT.

I wish I could say how lucky I’ve been to have family, friends and colleagues who have supported me to the extent that they have. Comedy is a lifestyle and committing to it has forced me to see a few people leave my life but thanks to comedy I have also met so many wonderful people I never would have met otherwise.

I just realized something wonderful.
I am a comedian. I write and tell jokes and some people pay me to do it. I have fans both on social media sites and in real life and I have a deadline for relocating in fall of 2014. I am paying off my debt at an accelerated rate and am saving what I can each week for the move and post-move life I’m so excited to start living.

Alright folks: Tonight is my first show in three weeks or so and it’s at a place called The Dog Bar in Gloucester, MA.
